La chiusura a strappo (conosciuta anche come velcro) è un sistema di fissaggio composto da due fettucce: una striscia ruvida e un’altra striscia morbida. La parte ruvida è l’uncino (hook) mentre quella soffice è l’asola (loop). Gli uncini si agganciano all’asola con elevata resistenza, permettendo così una perfetta aderenza tra le due strisce. Ampiamento usato in diversi settori merceologici, adatto a molteplici superfici, nel campo dell’arredamento domestico la chiusura tessile può essere cucita a mano o a macchina direttamente sui tessuti. Per chi non intendesse cucire, è disponibile la pratica versione adesiva, dove basta togliere la pellicola protettiva e premere con forza il nastro al supporto. Spesso si usa l’uncino adesivo con l’asola da cucire. La fettuccia a strappo (conosciuta anche come velcro) alta 20mm viene confezionata in rotoli da 25mt e venduta in scatole da 2 rotoli, il prezzo è riferito a 25 metri.  Questa è la versione uncino da cucire.
